WHERE: Room 205 (Senior Lounge) – Arlington Mill Community Center (AMCC)  901 S. Dinwiddie St, Arlington, VA

Cecilia Cassidy, Executive Director, Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization (CPRO)
Krysta Jones, West Pike representative on the CPRO Board of Directors
CPRO is a non-profit corporation formed to revitalize the Columbia Pike corridor and to combat neighborhood and commercial deterioration.  The Arlington County Board has directed CPRO to deliver a 3 year strategic plan detailing how they propose to carry out the goals of their organization, including their need for funding and staff.
CPRO met with the county board last month to present their initial draft.  We anticipate that the plan has been more fully developed as the county will vote on it at their December meeting.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO ARLINGTON  MILL, COLUMBIA FOREST AND WEST  PIKE RESIDENTS?  Because a group of west end Pike residents and related organizations is forming to bring attention to the need for upgrades and improvements at our end of the Pike.  This is your opportunity to impress upon CPRO that their resources need to be directed toward this effort.
