Spend a perfect Sunday afternoon with the Arlington Philharmonic! Our concert features acclaimed pianist Michael Sheppard and a program of orchestral music inspired by the rich tradition of storytelling. Michael Sheppard has been lauded for his dazzling virtuosity and musicianship.

Tune in to 96.7 FM to listen to a live radio interview about this concert with Maestro Scott Wood and Michael Shepperd. The interview takes place on Tuesday, March 7 at 8:15 am on Arlington Independent Media’s radio station WERA 96.7 FM.

 
The concert repertoire includes:
* Britten: Variations and Fugue on a Theme of Purcell
* von Dohnányi: Variations on a Nursery Tune Op. 25 (1914), featuring    Michael Sheppard, solo piano
* Ma Mère l’Oye: Cinq Pieces Enfantine Mother Goose by Maurice Ravel

No tickets are required to attend. A $20 donation per adult is suggested.

The Arlington Artists Alliance will host an art show in the lobby outside the auditorium prior to the concert and during intermission.
